Inside?

I usually come over the top. Sometimes my drives are straight but they mostly slice. I know i shouldnt be coming over the top but when I try to come down on the correct plane i slice or push the ball it feels like i cant square the face. I dont know if i should keep trying to come on the inside. Does anybody know why i cant square the clubface? I think I might be getting stuck.
