| Shifting hips at address I just recently started shifting my hips toward the target at address. This causes me to duck hook or hit a long draw(50/50)with my driver but causes a pull with my iron shots. It feels weird but my drives are 30 to 40 yds. longer than usual when I don't duck hook. I guess it preclears the right hip because I'm a natural slicer. I guess I just want to know if this setup position is normal because my hips feel as if they are left of the rest of my body at address. And what causes the duck hooks? I'm so happy about my driver distance increase that I don't want to change this position. |
