| Driver stance Hi all, I recently have changed a few things that have made stepping up to that first drive a little less daunting. The first is the distance between the feet, as soon as I widened my stance the whole swing became more stable and powerful. Second was my posture, which again added stability. Lastly, i stopped trying to thump it, and with a calm takeaway and follow through I am now hitting straight and 290+. Perhaps a pro would like to elaborate on these things so that other golfers can also enjoy a long walk down the fairway. Alistair |
