too far inside, too early

during my swing, i am going too far inside, too early. does anyone know of any drills i can do to fix this? thanks.

Try keeping it online for a few inches.


On the range, Place a ball 6 inches behind your ball and make sure you sweep it out the way on your backswing.

The only way to do that is to keep it on the same line.

If having a ball behind the original freaks you out, put a quarter behind it and take your club over the quarter...

I use a pump drill at a driving range. Do your back swing and start your down swing and stop it when your club is parralle to the ground. at this point it should be in a position similar to your takeaway. check that your club is running parralle to your target line, then take it back up to the top of your swing, do it again and then finish with hitting your ball. so it's pump 1, pump 2 and then hit.
