Hitting Down on the Ball

I have a problem hitting down on the ball, so my ball cannot get airbourne off the fairway.I had some advice already but I could use some more tips that can help me to get the ball in the air off the fairway.

thank you

Just a few questions to get an idea of your swing. Do you tend to hit the top of the ball? Or just punch the ball with a low flight? Where do you position the ball in your stance? How far ahead of the ball are your hands at address - if at all?

Re: Hitting Down on the Ball

Thank You PGA PRO. I tend to hit the ball sometimes on the top and sometimes i hit it with very low flight. I position the ball a little back of my stance and my hands are a little ahead of the ball. I just started doing that recently but i still cannot see any improvement. I just don't know what i am doing wrong.

thank you for the reply
