Swing Analysis programmes

Can anyone tell me what are the best golf swing analyisis programmes that can be downloaded either cheaply or for free- for the amount I would use it, its not really worth paying lots of money for!
Thanks

Re: Swing Analysis programmes

Hi,

Try www.pga.com and follow the link to the V1 system, there is a sample video there and a free download on the Vi website.

Good Luck

Ian.

Re: Swing Analysis programmes

You can either use V1 software or you can also download the demo version of CSwing.

In the studio I use both, depending on what I want to look at. They are both exceptionally good programs, but I do prefer CSwing.

cSwing gives you a few pro swings. A great site for additional swings is http://redgoat.smugmug.com/

Re: Swing Analysis programmes

The problem with comparing swings is you need to find someone with the same swing characteristics. So many amateurs just compare with any old pro swing they can find and then wonder why they can't figure anything out.

V1 website has a few ...
CSwing comes with a CD of swings too ...

I am not sure where to get swings from, I get them from other coaches and a good friend of mine coaches a number of players including Ernie, Vijay, Seve, Greg Norman so I get swings from them.

If you send me a a video of your swing, I'll try to tell you who to use as a comparison.
