| The Slot First, thanks to the owners for this great site, i will donate as I can. Now, getting the club into the 'slot' discussion would be appreciated. After playing for 40+ years, i can't sense just letting the club drop at the start of the downswing, seems the hit impulse from the top is the culprit. One site says the first move is back to the swing plane(from the shoulder plane) then to the ball, sounds right but feels powerless. Doug Sanders and lately that Doyle guy have such short backswings and knock the ball a ton, seems they never get off the swing plane thus, seems a much simpler swing, maybe something for us seniors to try? |
