swing problem

Recently i have been hitting the ball of the heel, which is causing me to loose distance. I am also hitting a slice to go along with it. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: swing problem

Try setting up the ball way closer to the toe. That will fix your problem guaranteed. I had the same problem and it's cured now.

Re: swing problem

A slice with the ball off the heel - sounds like you are coming outside-in with your swing. Make sure you are taking your club back along the target line, get your hands high at the top of the backswing and attack the ball from the inside when you start your downswing. Let me know if you need more detail...

Re: swing problem

It sounds to me as though you're standing far too close to the ball. Search for the site for an excellent "posture drill". I use this on the range to make sure I'm not crowding the ball and hitting the ball from inside to out promoting a draw rather than a slic.

Re: swing problem

Swinging from the inside is the fastest way to fix it. I fixed my slice in no time by doing this.
