| Re: Straight as an arrow...but goes to the left If you are struggling with a flat swing, try this drill: http://members.shaw.ca/gord962/drills/top_position.htm |

| Re: Straight as an arrow...but goes to the left nother question Gord.....when you say extend your arms out....is this from the waist or from your shoulders? If from the shoulders I can tell already that my backswing is nowhere near that height.... |

| Re: Straight as an arrow...but goes to the left just to butt in, I presume that you have checked your alignment/address? I discovered a few years ago the reason everything was going straight right. Id line up perfectly, then as I settled my feet I was actually "walking" my left foot towards the ball and my right foot back, changing my alignment. Set up a bunch of tees in a line about an inch away from the ball, on your side. This will help your alignment and you will also be able to see the direction of your swing, if you are hitting these tees you are probbaly swinging around yourself a bit. Even better is to create a "channel" of about 10 tees with the ball in the middle, this will prevent you from over correcting and pushing everything right! TTTTTTTTT <- o <- TTTTTTTTT |

| Re: Straight as an arrow...but goes to the left Greebo....that was a big concern yesterday while playing a round....at my address it really looked as tho my left foot was pointing away from target....for the last 5 holes after i made my initial address...i mentally pulled my left foot in a little and I seemed to be hitting the ball like i knew i could....Gordo's drill site was another tremendous help....12 more days till tourney time....things are better but still not where i want to be.....keep the ideas a comin....this site does help you if you are willing to devote your time to other's ideas.....
