I was told that I need make sure that my downswing comes more from an inside line.

Anybody out there know of any good drills to ensure hitting form the inside.

I've tried to do this in the range and think that I may be over-exaggerating the inside line as I end up hitting the ball to the right. Also, I appear to lose distance when I've tried hitting from the inside.

When practicing, keep practicing the exagerated inside-out swing. Then, after a few times out on the range, swing without thinking about swinging inside-out. I will bet that you are swinging inside-out or inside-square-inside. The prupose of drills are to exagerate the feelings, not to mold the swing perfectly. Every player is different, therefore your swing is a bit different. Make your swing your own with drills and finding which techniques work best for you.
