| Sponge Ball Drill My kids play football, (soccer to those of you in the colonies ) in the garden with a sponge ball. I've developed a drill with it that's great for keeping your left arm straight in the backswing and also for making you swing inside. All you do is squeeze the sponge ball between your elbows at address and then make a normal backswing, making sure that the ball stays between your elbows all the way through. It takes some getting used to, but it seems to work ok. Last edited by acepepper; 06-13-2005 at 03:59 PM. |
