Left-Right question.

This is my first post and I hope you guys can help. I took up golf a year ago and am totally hooked. At first I could only hit a weak high slice, shot in the 100's and had a handicap of 25. That has improved to rounds in the low 80's and a handicap of 14. My ball flight has improved a lot and I can draw the ball if my game is on. My problem is that now i hit one of two shots- A high push to the right (block) or a long hook. This can happen with any club in the bag. I think my problem is with the release of the club and i dont feel comfortable with my finish. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Left-Right question.

You sound like a candidate for the "imfamous" Right hand drill (to fix the hooks) and the Impact/Wall drill to fix the pushes.

Re: Left-Right question.

Thanks for the help Greg. I can hear sound but can see no picture on the right hand drill....is that just my PC or is there some other problem with the playback?

Thanks again.

Re: Left-Right question.

Sorted. Turned media players video acceleration option down to None from full. It works fine now.

Re: Left-Right question.

Thats a great drill greg. I find it hard to get my hips and shoulders that open at impact. What would you say the correct positions for the hips and shoulders at impact and from there any thoughts on how to fully release thew club to a balanced finish?
