Helpppppppppppppppppppppppp.....Suddenly every shot is a pull or FAT

Been golfing 5 months. Up to a month ago, was finally getting good distance with irons. Just not as accurate as I wanted. My instructor started working with me on dropping my hands and working on 2 plane swing. After watching Greg's Wall drill and working with this instructor and swinging in the house for the last couple of days....I thought the concept sunk it.

Went to the range this evening. Hit 400 balls. I had no distance (approx 120 yards with both 5 and 7 iron). a big percentage of shots were PULLS. An equally large % were FAT (actually more) with deep divots. A fair number were pushes but I got that eliminated.

I focused hard on my spine angle. Could it be that my backswing was wrong causing me to come in too steep??????

Please...any and all comments. Swing changes SUK!!!!!!!

A quess here is that you are in a "force it there" mode. Change is about new feelings and trying to get it right is hard when you are tense. Short shots is usually a result in a lack of range of motion. Try to go out there tomorrow with a relaxed mindset. Allow the new positions to be in the back of your mind, but get there in a relaxed state. This should create the easy accelation that tenseness cannot deliver.
