Re: Video of my Swing for Critique

OK

I see the pictures of tiger, but in his book he is exactly the same as durtman,

check out this link, alot of tour players have very little wrist break on the backswing it's all in the downswing.

http://www.golfonline.com/golfonline...469038,00.html Anika

its upto the individual which you prefer, I am with the very little break brigade, but that's only me.

Re: Video of my Swing for Critique

I am also in the little wrist break brigade and have been for my whole golfing life. I am now starting to query this a touch though as I experiment to shorten and tighten my swing.

Regardless, although Durtman may be like Tiger early in the swing, I don't think Durtman is quite like Tiger at the top of the swing which is where he has problems. What i was trying to get across to him is that wrist cock doesn't need to be a conscious thought if everything else is working properly, but if it is a problem one can always choose to get it out the way early a la Faldo.

Re: Video of my Swing for Critique

I think the only difference between the two shots at the top is Dustan, starts to reverse pivot slighty.
simply by shortening the swing by about 4-6 inches will eliminate this imeadiately.

I do agree that with very little wrist break it tightens the swing and although feel strange it is very powerfull, I am quite new to the less wrist break idea but I like it.
