Low Trajectory Woods - Help

Hello,

My tee shots generally go much lower than I would like. Additionally, they tend to draw a little also. If I lived in Texas, i guess this wouldn't be too bad. However, it's not good in the soft fairways of Florida. My fairwaywood also have the same problem. My iron shots have a good trajectory.... Help!

Thanks,
Steve

Re: Low Trajectory Woods - Help

Try moving the ball a little forward in your stance... with driver.. it should be just inside your left toe... or a little past your left shoulder at address... and with fairway wood a little back (1 to 3 balls) from that should work great.... clean sweep the grass trough the ball, high followthrough and that ball should skyrocket!

Get a full turn and with the driver take the ball high on the face and nice and even or (a "little" on the upswing). IF you really really still want to hit down on your driver get a lot of loft on it... 10.5 -to- 15 degree's

Another trick to high shots is to make sure your followthrough is nice and high... your followthrough can do as much or more to your trajectory than the ball postion can.

Also... The draw is also an indicator to me that your ball positon is too far back. your probably better at ball striking than driving and woos...?

Hit em High!

Re: Low Trajectory Woods - Help

A clubface that comes through impact slightly closed would give you that kind of ball flight. Sometimes taking the club back too far inside will lead to that outcome.
