Re: My Golf Swing Nothing wrong with the left foot in my opinion. You may benefit from widening your stance especially with the driver. Stance seems very narrow. Swing is very nice and on plane. May gain distance by doing some flexibility excercizes... should turn seems not quite complete and you are lifting your left foot. Obviously you must be pretty strong to generate that distance. Tom

Re: My Golf Swing not a bad swing for a beginner. nice tempo and relaxed. work on turning your shoulder more to 90 degrees and getting them behind the ball. on the follow through try to keep your elbows at the same distance apart. (if you stop your swing on the follow through on the video) you will see the elbows separate - the "chicken wing effect". The left elbow should fold up on the follow through. you can try putting a headcover under the left elbow to get the feel of this.

Re: My Golf Swing Still an interesting point. I know clubhead speed refers specifically to the point of impact. For a good (pro) swing, does the clubhead accelerate steadily or is there a sudden increase in speed close to the point of impact (the release?). I think a lot of beginners do swing fast (I do the swoosh very nicely), but if you want, you can call that club speed and does not necessarily mean I will have good clubhead speed (at impact) if I am not doing the lag and release properly?
