| Hi jambalaya, In fact by having the ball in the middle of the stance this encourages the hands to be slightly ahead of the ball. Remember the club shaft should be an extension of your left arm (right arm for left handers!!!) it may be that you are cupping your left wrist at address which is making your hands appear level or behind the ball. The photo below showes me with a sand wedge with ball in the middle of my feet, as you can see the hands are slightly ahead of the ball. Hope this helps Greg Hutton P.G.A. Professional |
