| Hitting irons off the toe. Help! I fluctuate from a 6 to 10 handicap. I've been hitting my irons off the toe for months. Can't seem to correct it. I think by the time I get to impact my body is so open that it's pulling the face in at impact and causing me to hit off the toe. Any thoughts or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks... |

| Re: Hitting irons off the toe. Help! Most often, toe shots are caused by your setup. If you are reaching for the ball (arms are not vertical, hanging from the shoulders), then at impact you have adjusted to the proper position (where they are close to the body) and your club now in the correct position, but now, the ball is not (too far away from you). Check that first. |
