| Re: Driver or 3 Wood of the Tee I use an 11.5 degree Adams Redline driver. I gain confidence from the larger head and the added loft creates less sidespin. I also had the shaft cut down from the out-of-the box 46 inches to 44 inches, which gives me more control. Bill |

| Re: Driver or 3 Wood of the Tee I also just purchased a 460cc driver. On the bad shots I hit it as far as my 4W. So I guess I would use my 4W only when there happens to be a dogleg that a good shot with the driver would exceed :P |

| Re: Driver or 3 Wood of the Tee I've been playing golf nearly a year ( started May 2005 self taught ). I will go practise 3-4 times a week since that and have corrected my dreaded slice and now I have my own swing that I can trust. I can hit a driver but inconsistent. For better consistency, I only bring my Callaway Big Bertha 3W for PAR 5. For 2nd shot, I'll use long iron.. |
