| Re: Hands in front of the ball at address? Your hands need to ahead of the ball at impact, so if your hands are ahead of the ball at address (forward press), what's the difference between the two as far as delofting the club?? As far as I am concerned, you need to square your club up this way, otherwise you are going to be hitting the ball with the face open. If you don't like the forward press at address, ensure you are going to be square by doing a practice swing stopping at impact position to ensure the face is square at impact.
