Re: Open Clubface @ Impact Two immediate options. Strengthen your grip. Setup with your driver face more closed (and use the same grip).

Re: Open Clubface @ Impact EITHER strengthen your grip, OR close your clubface. Both will probably produce a snap hook.

It could be that he's holding his lag through impact as well - holding the face open. This is solved by setting up with the face more closed. It could be that his grip is too weak, and when he releases, the face is open. This is solved by strengthening his grip. I'm not quite sure what else to do to solve an open clubface. |

Re: Open Clubface @ Impact jambalaya, a stronger grip means to rotate both hands further away from target. Lance - that's an indicator that you're probably holding the clubface open (if you're not rolling your wrists over).

Re: Open Clubface @ Impact My advice: 1. check grip-it must be neutral 2. alignment-square or maybe a little closed if you have problems with shoulder turn 3. make sure your clubface is square at address 4. make sure your transition from the top is smooooooth-no rushing 5. check clubface halfway back to make sure it points up 6. swing down from inside to square I would advise against the following: mainipulating clubface at address taking a strong grip other tricks than won't hold up over time or under pressure
