Re: going automatic??

I have switched to a more one plane set up. More spine tilt at address and a flatter swing. it feels pretty automatic and less timing involved with hips etc.

Re: going automatic??

by automatic i mean seperating all swing and golf thoughts from the swing itself. striking the ball on auto pilot... sort of. by making your golf shot a natural habit like driving a car.

try this

the idea appeals to me as i have quite a good swing, great ballflightetc. but i cant make a good score over 18 holes.

or this

Re: going automatic??

Ian are you there? This is a great place for you to chime in.....

It seems like everything is in your head. I would suggest that you need to stop thinking about score and just play. Have a buddy keep track of your strokes and not tell you what your score is until the round is over. You are too worried about the overall 18 score instead of taking it one hole at a time.
