Re: teeing off

Hi Bigtime,
The secret of using a tee with the 3 wood is tee it low. This is because the face of the 3 wood is not as big as the driver. With the driver you hit the ball on the upswing. That is why you tee it high for the driver. Make sure the ball is only teed up the same height of the three wood face. This should give you improvement.

Re: teeing off

ONe thing I actually do to "tee off" with a 3 wood or irons is I don't use a tee at all but I do kind of whack the ground on the tee box to get the grass to pop up above everything else, then place the ball on that exactly how I want to. I have found this helps me to hit things too thin.

Hope I described this properly.

Re: teeing off

In golf we only get 18 chances of hitting from a prefect lie, so why not make the most of it.
I also tee the ball very low on all but the driver, even then I dont tee that up anywhere as high as most players but I dont use a big headed driver.
