Well darn (family site), I could have sworn somebody said it was in the fingers. I played all day today gripping in the fingers. Maybe that is why I wore and burst a blister on the outside 3rd finger of my right hand

. I only shot 3 higher than yesterday though and hit more consistently straight shots. Did feel kinda awkward having my hand that far over the grip, but I managed. I actually think I would have shot 6 under yesterdays score if my back hadn't started hurting on every swing on the back 9.
Because of the blister I started using a
"natural grip". Instead of wrapping/overlapping the fingers on the backside, I just tucked the thumb and did an over and under baseball bat type grip. I really liked it. My playing partner tried it and liked it even more than me. He was having a terrible day up until he started using that grip. I got the idea from my brother about a month ago.
"Is this a legal grip??"
