| Re: distance from ball Yes, absolutely Reaching for the ball causes all kinds of problems. Mainly, you will tend to pull the club inside the swing plane, it gets stuck behind you and the you will need to come over the top to contact the ball with an outside in swing plane. Reaching for the ball creates a false sence of power. Arms should hang down straight from your shoulders or slightly extended. |
