Here is Nervous tournement swing vid

OK i managed to get some swing footage from my first tournement(been playing a year had some lessons). First Drive of the day sucked , good example of first tee jitters, stroke play i am 20 handicap and stood behind me are single digets never met before, wife was on camera. I topped this shot and it went like 100 yards. shot 10 on first hole, so pissed off could not make 2 foot putts, ended up with 102 should have been 202, usually shoot low 80's if i leave driver in the bag.

i have been fighting a slice for a couple of mths, out to in swing,

this next swing with clevelend halo hybred uphill lie actually went well 220 yards slight fade, which would have sliced more but the uphill lie helped out.

here are a couple of side shots with driver, I am really fighting a slice with my woods and driver at the moment working on some tips i have had from a lot of you here, mainly in to out swing and getting the clubface closed more through impact which seems to be major issue, which is no prob with irons.

thks for any imput I am on the verge of club bashing

wow give the club a break you look like your strangling it lol. you need to relax and loosen up the grip try barely holding the club real light grip preasure. your holding the club so tight your hands arnt turning over leaving the club open. relax and lighten up on the grip

Re: Here is Nervous tournement swing vid

I know what ya mean, i wish i could strangle myself sometimes i have been try ing to lighten the grip but its all or nothing cant seem to find that happy medium, i do the drill holding the club vertical and then horizontal and then in between to feel the weight of the club and grip pressure but makes my grip feel way to loose, how come it works ok with irons?

Re: Here is Nervous tournement swing vid

first, on one of the driver shots the ball was WAY too far forward, was out past your foot, this will open your shoulders at address
second, you hve the weight too much on the toes of your feet, ever notice how much you loose your balance? move the weight back towards the heels and either have it centered or favor the heels. third, too much angle between club shaft and left arm. Bring the hands a little higher and that will make you stand up straighter

Re: Here is Nervous tournement swing vid

I have started playing the ball just inside left heel now but still have to address ball a little further back to stop my shoulders from being open, i am working on the balance here is a shot at the range today (sans hangover)

i ahve been trying to imitate set up of ben crane see link to his driver shot
