| Heres my swing just wanted to post my swing and see if i could get any good suggestions i know its not the best quality, hope to get a better one soon 8 iron down the line http://media.putfile.com/8-iron-down-the-line-44 8 iron face on http://media.putfile.com/8-iron-face-on right after i took these videos i went out to the range and was crushing the balls...9 iron 140-150 yards 5 iron close to 200, this a little above average for me but was a good feeling as it felt as if i was using little effort...although i was still seeing a slight fade that i did not want, id like to have a little more control of my shots..any suggestions? if you have trouble seein gthe links simply copy them into your internet browser and they will work..i had a little trouble my swing after recent comments http://media.putfile.com/new-30 check this out and see if my setup is a little better

Re: Heres my swing You have a lovely rotation through the ball, no wonder you get so much distance. I'm no pro but I would like to see you lift your head up slightly more at address so you can rotate further on the way back aswell as keeping it down on the way back as you seem to bob upwards on the downswing.

Re: Heres my swing Hi shamed. i've just viewed your video and i'm well impressed but for one thing. If you keep your head so low it will prevent you getting a full shoulder turn on your backswing and will cause tension in the back of the shoulders . Lift the head and relax and you will hit the ball even thurther. Regards >>>>>terry

Re: Heres my swing I think the main thing you should work on is posture and balance. I would flex your knees less and make sure you load into your right side on the back swing. Be careful not to let the weight get onto the outside of your right foot. Your head drops forward a bit on the backswing. By loading into the inside of the right foot, you might be able to keep more stable.

Re: Heres my swing I can think of only two pro's that tried to play this game and make a living dropping their heads on the back swing...that was Hubie Green (Hubie is probably before your time) and on tour now is the lefty Russ Cockran(sp) Both of their careers and playing is and are irradic (in my opinion) due to that drop. You probably won't be CONSISTANT ( I don't know of anybody that is) by dropping your head on the backswing and raising it back up on the forward swing. Work on your Posture, head up, a little less knee flex, take some swings looking at your shadow and don't let yourself move up and down. This will help you find your balance . Immulate good players postures..Unfortunatly now, that habit of raising up on the forward swing will be the biggest habit and challenge you have to get rid of...Good luck, you've got some work ahead of you...
