Re: My Swing

Right knee straightens up on back swing and that might be the cause of you crossing the line at the top. Your arms go away from your body at the start of the back swing which causes you to take it outside the line, if you cup your right wrist as you move back, it will limit that a little, maybe completely. On the back swing think of the hands going back and up, not out and up

she has a lot of power but she must be erratic at times. she gets too much on her right toe before impact, she is ALL the way up on it when hands are at waste high and in the follow through she gets up n the toes of both feet. Keeping more right knee flex in the swing may help to clean it up a little.
hey bigdeal, what are your down swing thoughts? do you consciously try to kick in the right knee?

Got to be one of the beter female am swings I have seen. Huge rotation through. Great connection going back, which is why you take it slightly outside, but this is no concern at all. If your spine angle changed, or you pushed your arms out, but you don't. The position at the top is great. It's hard to tell if your across the line from the camara angle, but even so, your shoulders have rotated past 90 at the top, so this is just fine.

Girl, don't change a thing.

Re: My Swing

Hey, really nice swing there. Greg and shootin are more the experts here on the swing but I think what you could prob benefit most from is getting a bit more control in the swing. Both Greg and shootin will tell you about swing paths, straight right knee, feet off the ground etc but I think all these would come together if you had a bit more control in the swing. 20 less yards, 85% swing and I'd say you'd see more consistency etc

But.. you are well able to swing out of your socks, and on a long hole or when you need to get the ball out there, that is an excellent swing. You attack the ball brilliantly from the inside.

Try an 85% swing on your next round see how you get on
