How relaxed are your shoulders?

I've been reading a book called 'How to feel a real golf swing', by Bob Toski and Davis Love Jr, and it is a very good book. They analyze each part of the swing and talks about the relationship between the body parts in action.

So, I just wanted to ask, 'How relaxed are your shoulders' which is a major part of the swing which the mention.

Re: How relaxed are your shoulders?

Hi all,

I don't think of how relaxed my shoulders are. I just imagine that I am going to sweep the ball with a extension of my right shoulder and this give me a good rythm and finish. I mean SWEEPING the ball with the shoulder ( hands will do their job automaticaly, you know how to hit a ball with an iron or with a wood, tee shots, etc...completly different ).
Are your shoulders tense when sweeping the dust at home, per example? I don't think so.

Toni.
