Hands are further ahead at impact, body is turned and cetrifugal force has pulled the left arm straight in line with the shaft. At set up your arms approximate more of a capital Y and at impact a lower case y, thus flatter wrist. I think this may be part of your answer.

I seem to be caught between a push (or slice) and a pull precisely as a result of this mechanic. I setup with my clubface like so (\) to try and compensate for an otherwise open clubface at impact. If I setup with the clubface squared (!) then it will be open at impact. In other words setting up (Y) and making impact at (y) appears to open the clubface at impact. Can someone help me with this? Anyway, I'm hitting the ball better these days but still struggle with consistently getting it to go in the direction I am aiming, that is straight. I more often pull the ball now rather than slice.
