| longest golf ball I seem to remember seeing a study on the Internet that ranked golf balls by distance, spin rate etc., but cannot remember the WEB address. Does anyone know of such a study? Or do you have opinions on what is the longest ball. I am a 22 HC and drive the ball on average of 200 to 210. |

| Re: longest golf ball I think i saw the web page you are referring too.. i think i found it through google. for me. i'm a 20HC. I've recently been using Titlist NXT Tour golf balls and i find i can hit these a fairly long way (220 - 240m) and they stop well for me too. I tried changing to Optima PRO UT but i just can't hit them. they have the same feel on the irons, but i just can't hit them, they just don't feel right for me. I also lost distance from them and they are a more expensive ball being $6.75 each to teh Titlist at $4.45. Then you get the Precept D-Force, my most hated golf ball ever made. i can't stand putting with these things. Hense i don't drive with them. They are way too soft and spring too much off the putter for my liking. My advice is it's a personal choise, try different golf balls and find what you like best. Give the titlist NXT Tour a shot and see how you go. hope this helps. jase |
