Re: Within your Ability

HAHA good one aftford.

I tell you what pisses me off is amatuer golfers making threads as if they are treachingpros. they speak like they are swing gurus or something. Martin I looked on your profile and you havent even got a flamin handicap, what gives you the right to come on this website and start trying to make threads telling everyone how to play the game of golf?

yes I give tips to people but I dont go and make a bunch of threads saying how to do this, how to do that there are millions of different ways of swinging the golf club. I have no doubt that I know 10x as much as you about the golf swing, but i dont say anything because I KNOW that AMATUER COACHING AMATUER DOES NOT WORK!

Shootin4par is another one, sorry shootin but ive seen you on other forums askin a load of beginner questions and typical amatuer questions and then you come on this forum acting as if you KNOW IT ALL! And trying to teach people ONE WAY OF SWINGING THE GOLF CLUB, YOU HAVE TO UP THE RIGHT WRIST IN THE TAKEAWAY AND ALL THAT, Oh is that why tiger has been working more on a one piece takeaway and useing more of the body to swing the golf club.

Sorry for the outburst as well, but some of you people really annoy me with all of this shit you speak!

Why don't you create a thread that servres to help people instead of this self opinionated rubbish that you keep churning out by the mile.
if i get a wrist slapping by the moderators for my outburst then so be it .
At least i use my free time in the hope of passing on sound advice to people . and not to self publicise any mis-guided views i may hold.

people like you really piss me off.

aftford,

People like who? You don't know me and if you're pissed, that's your problem, deal with it.

About the pidgeon hole, it's not mine, it's yours. It's anybody's who talks about "core fundamentals", what a load of bull. Do you know what core and fundamental mean? Core is: The essence of, fundamental is: the essence of. Look it up. None of these golfers fit your pidgeon hole of what a good golfer should be. They all fit mine, though. Look at their head as they swing and look at the results they produce.

And if they do fit your pidgeon hole, why is that? Don't you think that since they all have unconventional swings and they all swing differently, your conventional methods could not possibly apply to all of them simultaneously? Don't you think that your method, or whatever method you wish to defend, is vague enough to allow for such unconventional swings to fit it? Since it is a vague method, don't you think that's reason enough not to trust it for one second?

There's nothing vague in what I've written so far, I know what to focus on.

Why don't you create a thread yourself?

Let's take it one step at a time, shall we? I'll just copy and paste what you wrote but change the names around so you understand exactly how much respect you bring to yourself, rharris06.

Look dude.
I stopped replying to a thread recently because of your attitude. That will never happen again. i give countless hours of my free time to this site and i gaurantee that you will not be able to find a single person who can say a bad word about me...go ahead.
i always try to give sound honest advice based on years of experience , so don't you ever dare try to belittle me or other people who have given most of their lives to the benefit of others .

Try and keep what concise? Point it out, otherwise I'll take it that the fault lies with the viewer and not with the text I wrote.

If you can come up with a judgement of what the text is, then perhaps the text is concise enough for you to make a judgement on it in the first place.

Nevermind, carry on. You can go lie down, now. I'm sorry that I didn't please you but as they, we can't please everybody so I don't try to.

Now that is what I call a personal attack. As I said, you're not good enough to insult forum members, rharris06.

And what makes you think you are good enough to tell people how to play golf! You made this thread as if you were a PGA golf instructor.

After having made two personal attacks on me, that was a good decision to not post anymore in that thread. I'm happy that you promise to not let it happen again.

I've never tried to belittle you but you have done so to me before so I don't trust you yet, aftford.

If you have a problem with others attacking a method that you hold dear, the problem lies with you, not with the method or with other people or with the attacks.

Read carefully what you and others have written to date in this thread, nobody has come up with anything to successfully contradict what I wrote.

Re: Within your Ability

Stop , everybody , stop.
This is counter productive and isn't getting anybody anywhere. i appologise for my earlier outburst, a man of my age should know better.
Ricky , snowman don't be drawn in by this man, he lives to cuase controversy and upset.
Martin , we are above the level that you attempted to drag us down to and i for one will just go on helping people that need help. i don't do it for self gratification. i do it because i understand the struggles of everyday golfers.

cheers
