Wrist break

Please see attached article. Any comments on the "backward wrist break" that the article advocates.

Hello.
i have read the article and i'm very afraid that if i was to try his drills , i might break my wrists .
i broke my wrist once and it was very painful. so my advice would be, leave your wrists alone .
i prefer to break wind, much less painfull, unless my farmers are hanging down, then it feels like i'm farting razor blades.

this is the approach one of the members on this site "shooting for Par" advocates - cupping the right wrist first before cocking the wrist. I have tried this with some success.
