| divot, then no divot! Hi All, This might sound like a stupid question, but I would be grateful to Gregg and anyone else who might help me with an irritating problem which has just crept into my game. I have been working on the theory of striking down on the ball with the irons to great effect. However, and this is what baffles me, I find that a divot only appears when I do a pivot. Without a pivot there is no divot, and I get a shooting pain up through my right leg. Please help!! |

| Re: divot, then no divot! hi robert: in my position divot or no divot is a "personal style" of the player in the tour has both some make divot some others not personally with my long iron usually i dont do divots more like a sweeping swing.but short iron yes if im betwen150 to a 100 yards, now if im in 95 yards in. no divot and it work for me so my point is what the big deal of the divot? |
