| hands in front or where? Hi All, I am currently experimenting with the club position in my set up. I have started to set my hands ahead of the clubface and ball at adress. I find this helps to give the feeling of an easier start to the takeaway and a better feeling for coming into contact with a square strike. Is there any hard and fast rule for this set up or is it wrong to be introducing this to the whole golf swing.? I dont interfere with my ball position in the set up and follow the rule of middle stance for wedge etc, slightly forward for mid irons etc.

| Re: hands in front or where? there is no hard and fast rule generally the wedge has the hands most in front and it gets less up to the driver where the hands would be even or slightly behind Last edited by shootin4par; 08-28-2006 at 04:16 AM. |
