Delayed slice

I feel that i have a decent swing and get good distance on my drivers. Most of the time i hit them straight down the middle but other times i hit them far but then they cruve left. By the way i am a lefty...Thanks in advance.

Re: Delayed slice

This is probably not as bad as you would think. Balls that fall in a slicing direction (left for you lefties), is called a "power fade". This is a very controllable flight...predictable. Singh has this flight. Since you are getting good distance, this means you have all the parts working in connection, timing is good and impact on the ball is in the center of the face.

Knowing how to repeat this or guard against it (if you don't want to shape it that way) will be your next challange. Range work, video and practice on the course working the ball will help you identify what you are doing to create these 2 different shots on demand.

So don't sweat the "power fade", use it.
