Tight or loose...which is correct ?

Normally I associate tight with good and losse with bad.

But in golf which is best ?
If you are talking swings then tight is good (but with a loose feeling is best).
Getting too tight stops your performance.

Re: Tight or loose...which is correct ?

Hi,

Are you referring to the grip or the swing in general. In both cases muscles work more effectively when relaxed, once you create tension in the golf swing you will have to work against that tension, this will create loss of power and direction.

Keep your grip light and try to feel as though the club zips easily around your body for maximum results.

Hope this helps.

Brian,

Trolls are those who jump onto forums, and just stir up sh!t.

Generally speaking, if you ignore their threads, they go away.

As for my avatar, my signature says it all. That was my lie, in a bunker, in it's face. I managed to get out, but then 3 putted for double.

LP,

Ah! Got it. Sorry for being a bit slow.

Bit slow with your avatar as well, I can see now it's a plugged ball.
