Help Please Woods And Driver.

Hi, I would firstly like all of you for the advice on my last post. My problem now is that my iron shots go down the middle but my wood and driver shots go to the right. Any advice or tips on how to cure this? thanks.

Re: Help Please Woods And Driver.

if you hitting your irons down the middle your posture and swing plane is probably correct, so check your ball position and your swing speed (we tend to swing faster for woods and drivers, which causes timing issues), also worth checking your posture when swinging a wood. i found that when i am not playing well 95% 0f the time it is my posture / ball position that are incorrect rather than my swing. stand in front of the mirror and swing.

I also think it may be ball position. Have a look at this video (Ball position and setup) and see if it heps.

Re: Help Please Woods And Driver.

hi
like the othere have said with the driver we try and swing faster, try swinging at 80% and working to to say 90% i think you will find you get better control and the ball will be on the fairway and run more so you wont lose distance from not swinging at 100%. once you know you can hit it far and in control at 80/90% you relax more and you play better too.
