Please Critique my Swing

My ball flight is high with a high fade or the often low pull hook.

Re: Please Critique my Swing

You should be more bent over from the knees at address position, also your right leg straightens in the backswing. Try keeping the flex in your right leg during the backswing.

Re: Please Critique my Swing

it seems that you pull the club head behind the line of your feet in take away, which suggests you use your hands to take the club back, try to take the club back so when it is half way the club head is outside your hands and parralel to your target line. your leg action and shoulder turn in your take away are not doing much, try to take the club back using your arms, hands and shoulders. another suggestion would be to take 3/4 back swings, you dont need a full swing with an iron.
hope this helps.

""It seems that you pull the club head behind the line of your feet in take away"" - Yes my pro is trying to get me to take it back straight but when I do I slice.

""You should be more bent over from the knees at address position"" - Not sure what you mean by this - shouldnt you bend from the waist?

""your right leg straightens in the backswing. Try keeping the flex in your right leg during the backswing."" - Yes I should do this

Re: Please Critique my Swing

You're bent enough from the waist. It's your legs - they're almost straight. Imagine you're a goalkeeper, what kind of position do you take? You would be bent from the waist and knees. That's the sort of athletic position we're looking for. Your legs are almost straight. So try to "crouch" a little at your address position, but don't bend more from the waist anymore.

When I take it back i feel like imt taking it outside the line like Lee treveno but when I see it on video you could almost take it futher outside.

Re: Please Critique my Swing

looks very good to me. i would like to see a shorter back swing with irons, 3/4 is more than enough. this also incourages better use of your body rather than hands. well done
