Question Distance Problems

I am a fairly stong guy - with big upper and lower body. Yet, I feel quite flexible - can swing my body 90+ degrees in either direction. My problem is, when I hit a ball right (straight and without slice/hook), my ball doesn't go as far as my golf buddies... and they're all sizes... fat, thin... but all weaker physically.

I've taken lessons from PGA pros who says that it's because I'm using all arms... but even with coordinated swings with my lower body as primary power.... the ball still doesn't go far. I've tried relaxing and not worrying about distance, and can have fun, but would really like to find out what I can do to help with distance.

Logic/physics tells me that my golf head is not moving as fast as the others - therefore, the distance is shorter. Swinging faster only messes with my consistency.... and practice on the range doesn't seem to help with distance anyways (swing faster... get more consistent... still shorter distance).

Any suggestions? Or something to look at/try?

Thanks!

Can you post a short .Avi of your swing? One facing and one down the line.

A friend of mine has the same thing goin' on. He works out all the time, huge chest. He has to play a fade. We opened his stance slightly so he could get his pivot working correctly. He also turns his right foot out more than normal to get his pivot working. Without seeing your swing this is difficult to diagnose.
