| Re: "The Secret" help... How much the wrist bends back will lessen with the longer clubs. This is a result of mainly ball position. This will affect the effectiveness of "the secret" because your right wrist will be too bent back for the longer clubs. I am not a pro, but two options that I can see are: 1) Try to rotate your shoulders more with the longer clubs at impact. This is probably very hard to do and probably not desireable. 2) Practice the "spirit" of what "the secret" is telling you which is your right wrist should be bent back and a flat lead wrist (or slightly bowed) with your longer clubs. Learn what it is teaching you because you can't use it on the course for your 6i-wedges. Last edited by Started2k3; 01-26-2007 at 01:44 PM. |

Shorter irons have nice flight and much more controllable!! The secret was a big help in helping me remember some things. But, I am unable to translate to longer irons....especially 5 and longer. |
