please help ive been playing golf for a while but am so inconsistant one good round followed by a nightmare one.the thing is that i dont complete the turn fully especially with the long clubs probably because i am to eager to get back to the ball.is there any drill that could help me out.sometimes i think that maybe i tilt my shoulders rather than rotate them.

Cabbie,

One of the better drills I have seen happens to be on the home page of this site and is called "A Better Pivot".

Something else you can try is to stand completely straight with your feet close together. Hold your club horizontal to the ground and swing side to side with the same technique as you do during your golf stroke. I find this helps promote better balance, wrist timing as well as trunk rotation.
