| Re: pleas critique my swing Beautiful swing!!! Absolutely textbook quality!!! I love the way you shift-rotate your hips to the left now (without sliding). You now seem to have a 1) wider stance, 2) a more assertive downswing transition move (hip shift-rotation), and 3) a more rapid movement of the right elbow down to the right hip area in the early downswing as a result of movement (2). Does your swing feel better? Do you feel that you are hitting with more force but with better balance? Is your ball distance and ball flight better? Jeff. | Re: pleas critique my swing I have noted some other improvements. You don't over-rotate your hips on the backswing. You seem to have a nicely flexed right knee throughout the backswing, which limits hip rotation in the backswing, and your torso looks like it is becoming more coiled in the backswing. Is that true? Also, your hands seem to be ahead of the ball at impact because of your better lower body drive. Your better lower body drive results in your right heel being lifted at impact (which is new). Jeff. |

| Re: pleas critique my swing I practiced last night as you can see in the vids and hit it well. It felt very powerful last night. I then went out this morning to my little 9 hole course and played a few holes. I did have some trouble with length as you can imagine my timing was way out because the hit is very late plus its a very different way to swing so you would think that my timing wouldnt be on. One thing I did notice was you could take the club straight back rather than around without fear of slicing as you are so "Inside" on the way down. Last edited by tonyc9; 02-20-2007 at 01:25 AM. |
