having fun?

Mr. Mays
I am enjoying the swing and the journey to ithacas, but not sure if I will get there because of the cool things along the way distracting me.
anayways,

I got three balls in a row, left hand only, last night at the range. Good compression and just swinging the club. First time three balls in a row, with the left hand, right hand is going good now and about 8/10 shots. My objective is to see how many different swings I can do in succession and hit balls on my target line with at least 70 yards with a SW, right now I got four, left arm will be five when I have it down I am picking up a left hand SW club head today at the store so if I duplicate what I can do while being right handed, with my left hand, I will have 10. cmays, when we meet one day maybe you can help me get that number higher. Just for fun I can now bounce the ball on the club and stop it, then continue bouncing, learning how to bounce with left hand is coming along well too. Just trying to get the feel of the club in my hands

Then I was talking with a friend and talking about set up, telling him how important it was and then proceeded to hit a ball, sand wedge 2 feet right of target line 85 yards. Then I asked him what was different about the swing as opposed to one I showed him a minute prior. He made a few guesses about set up, etc... and then I said where was my left hand, "what do you mean" was his reply, I said again, "where was my left hand", he said "I dont know" I asked "was it on the club", "um no" was his reply One ball, one explanation, one shot, on the money my set up is pretty close to spot on. swinging one handed it is hard to manipulate the club and you have to learn how to swing, just look at big john, great swing and would be better if he practised, but when he does practice, one arm only swings is what he likes to do it seeems

last night I also worked on the breathikng during the swing, which is very important, keeping the clubface square in my forward press and speeding up the pivot. was hitting the wedges well and by speeding up the transition, stomping the left foot, shift faster, whatever one wants to call it, got 10 easy yards more with the sw. Making sure I use the muscles in my lower back during the swing, right side muscles on forward press, left side on way back, right side coming through. I dont have to worry about the sway or reverse pivot, or lunge. Man this is getting to be so much more fun. I hit balls 3 days in a row for the first time in over 5 months and today will be day 4. if it stops being fun then I will stop practising, but as long as it is fun I will keep on keeping on
