| had a lesson had a lesson with the pro at my new club very interesting lesson he was very happy with my posture, grip and alignment and concentrated mainly on me making a more relaxed backswing. he said he doesnt believe in looking at static pictures in books and using the mirror to check positions.hmm i thought any way following 30 mins of instruction he had me hitting my 7 iron 20yds further with a nice draw shape |

i was overdoing it in my backswing trying to create width.my left arm was too straight which was adding tension and killing the swing |

| Re: had a lesson I'm currently checking out an instructor who doesn't teach by position as much as he does by feel... it's an interesting concept, and has me intrigued. Slats- you can't say no to more distance! |
