| Swing plane help I have noticed part of why my swing is so inconsistent I believe is I tend to swing too steep. One day my irons are crisp with a nice shalow divot after the ball, the next day I am turfing the ball 20 yards to the right with a deep divot shank. I recognize the timing of my hips to be a great challenge, therefore if I don't time it correctly I am too steep. Is there some swing thought, key or drill to optimize a shallow downswing? Thanks. |

1. Get your hips to turn as level as possible, as if it's the wheel on an inclides axis (the axis is your spine) 2. Get your hips to beat the club to impact (getting your hips open at impact). Beware: you may thin a few for a while until you get your timing dialled in. Stick with it and I promise you'll hit great iron shots. |
