| Wow.....had a video session at Edwin Watts First of all, let me just say that what they are doing at Edwin Watts is pretty darn cool. They really stress the importance of swinging on plane and using natural leverage. It actually seemed to fit along with The Golf Machine methodology interms of swinging in plane. now the bad news....my swing was a wreck. I had no idea how bad I was laying the club off at the beginning of my swing in an effort to flatten my past upright swing. The pro worked with me with a laser golf club to get me swinging in plane. Wow....how different that felt. It was amazing how much easier and SO MUCH MORE POWERFUL the swing felt. My wrist naturally hinged and unhinged during the swing. The other main problem was I straighten my right leg in the backswing although he even thought this was due to being so far off plane. The good news is my downswing was relatively on plane but my body was in such bad position from all the awkward movements in the backswing that it was just impossible to make a consistent swing on the ball. But oh man, when we worked on getting in plane and getting the proper hinge it just felt so darn awesome. We'll have to see how it translates at the range, although I know it is going to take some time. They made a video of the swing but unfortunately was on VHS not dvd so I can't post the video.

| Re: Wow.....have you consider this...??? Hi! CeCe here...I just joined and also posted an inquiry about finding instruction for the new Stack & Tilt golf swing. (See Golf Digest on-line or mag, June, 2007.) Some of what you describe you are doing is what Plummer and Bennett encouragein this radical new golf swing. I am currently looking for US instructors of this swing. ( Loved your articulate and witty posting, smile) CeCe |
