| Re: Shoulder Spinout Logically the shoulders square at impact will be correct and true. However at that speed, you can't control your arm & hands that prefectly and if you try to consciously work it, you will lose it. You better off spending your focus on building a consistent swing plane and swing tempo to match. If you swing plane for upswing, downswing & followthrough are also identical, than your shoulders are probably square at impact too. Hope that is of some help. | Re: Shoulder Spinout I got back from the range and realized it was pretty easy to get into the position I was talking about if I just retraced my downswing from my backswing....Keeping my hands closer to my body on the downswing I was able to keep my wrist hinge longer and hit the inside back of the ball like we all hear so much about. My hands have a tendency to push out a bit also causing my right shoulder to push out on the downswing but instead of really coming over the top I would keep pushing out on the ball...Weird deal.

| Re: Shoulder Spinout The clubface needs to be square to target at impact but the shoulders may or may not have to be to achieve that. If you used the RHD for example you would need to have your shoulders rotated way forward so the right palm is square to target. The swingplane will be set by the club length and your height, the swing path will affect the relationship between shoulders and target though. |
