| Shoulder turn on plane or drop? Hello, I have recently been looking at tour players and checking out the turning of their shoulders in the downswing. I practice a pivot drill where I place a club along my shoulders and turn looking at where the club points to practice correctly. However when I swing I try to drop my right shoulder and get through the ball with it. These motions are different but I hear them a lot. Which is correct or are both correct? When you swing the club and simply turn your shoulders on plane do you let the arms seperate from your shoulders before you turn at all or do you start both but swing your arms fast so that they time themselves?
