| stopping at the ball just wondered if anyone has tried this. Feel as if they are hitting the ball with an imaginary impact bag in front of it. You almost feel as if you are allowing the club time to compress the ball. You can't actually stop becuase the momentum takes you through the ball. Believe it or not, I kind of got the idea from a putting tip I read. Essentailly you stop the club at your big toe on all putts and vary the distance by how far back you take the club. To me it is easier than same back and same through. So I thought you could extend this idea to a more full swing. Have actually had pretty good results with this. does this make sense? any feedback appreciated. |

| Re: stopping at the ball Or focus on a spot 3" in front of the ball, and make sure you mash it. |

| Re: stopping at the ball ![]() It's probably food for another thread, but, I agree with VP here... Quote:
But, freely admit I'm no expert and concede that if it works for you, then more power to ya... Cheers ![]() |
